Good Good Year!

In the midst of the constant hustle and bustle of life, do you find yourself caught in the dichotomy of treating the New Year as a fresh beginning or just another passing month? At Gml Gallery, we resonate with the sentiment of being in between – not overwhelming ourselves with unattainable resolutions but acknowledging the significance of having plans and goals for the calendar year.

Sharing my personal encounter with the crossing over from 2023 to 2024:

As the clock struck midnight on New Year's Eve, I found myself in the serene company of my favorite tea, a journal, and the subtle whisper of reflection. This year, I decided to approach the transition with a more relaxed perspective, steering clear of the typical long list of resolutions. Instead, I embraced the power of journaling to gain clarity, set a positive tone, and make a promise to myself to pace better throughout the upcoming year.

The past year had been a whirlwind of juggling between projects, travels, and year-end pop-ups, leaving me physically and mentally drained. The excitement and joy of viewing the world through my usual curious lens had faded. Recognizing the abnormality of this, I chose to go easy on myself and indulge in a lazy Christmas, a much-needed respite that did wonders for my well-being. I am now ready to return to my paintings and doing things I love, and I hope it is the same for you who are reading this. Go with your own rhythm of how you like to your year, month, week and days should be.

Here's to a good, good year filled with creativity, inspiration, and the vibrant colors of life! Stay tuned for more exciting updates from Gml Gallery in the coming months. Cheers to 2024!
