From Singapore to Nashville: A Journey in Song and Art

Every painting begins with a story, and this one is about music that carries home wherever it goes.

This canvas captures the journey of Singapore-born singer-songwriter Frances Tan Si Min, whose voice and lyrics weave our stories into melodies that travel across borders. On one side of the painting, the familiar charm of Singapore’s old shophouses — a reminder of roots, heritage, and home. On the other, the vibrant music streets of Nashville — a city alive with rhythm, creativity, and possibility. At the heart of it all, Frances herself, bathed in a warm amber glow, her music bridging two worlds.

From Singapore’s streets to Nashville’s stage, she carries a piece of us with her.

This weekend, Frances will be performing at the Singapore Festival, San Mateo County Event Centre, San Francisco, and we are so proud to be part of her “entourage", bringing our artwork and Journals Wrapped in Art, sharing the Singapore Stories — celebrating the places, people, and passions that shape who we are.

Her music, like our art, is a reminder that beauty is born in the crossing of paths: where heritage meets innovation, where roots meet journeys, and where Singapore meets the world.
